We've had record breaking temperatures (upper 80's and low 90's) which is unheard of in winter.

Same problem here in Belgium. We had the 'hottest' December ever, and it still hasn't gotten cold in January.

Wet, yes. I am having another weekend filled with making High-water reports because too much rain is causing the gauge heights in the navigable rivers to rise.

At least I know what to do now this weekend rolleyes

It's definitely cold again in Oslo now.

The entire city has become one huge ice rink once again, with only the main car roads free of ice.

Temperatures back at a few degrees below zero.
    I am extremely serious.

Woke up to snow-covered outside today. And just beneath the snow - the invisible ice rink! This is the most dangerous type of weather we can have in urban areas in Norway. Causes lots of accidents -- both with cars and people falling over.

    I f&"#¤"#¤ng hate this weather!

Snow, snow and more snow. People still have their Christmas lights on trees etc. out, so NOW it's VERY Christmas-mood-like here in Oslo. Now that it's all over, of course. slant

Middle of January, maybe? Sometimes even late January.

But people have already started to throw away their trees. They're stacked up by recycling bins everywhere. It's a sad sight.

I spent my Christmas from -18oC to -3 max, all snow (well, ice to be precise) for 2 and a half weeks! I feel you!
