Second, third and fourth that!
One of my very favourite Morricones, and a continually brilliant listen. Simply brimming with mood and chocfull of themes! There's NOTHING there not to like!

James Newton Howard - The Interpreter
I for one like this score, it is inspired by Bourne, but Howard's rhythmic sensibilities, especially in Zuwanie Arrival at UN and Assassin. The build up of intensity is interesting, though Matobo is an example of how NOT to start an albumhttp://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Two of my very oldest friends Mark & Ian ( brothers ) came to see me this afternoon, we grew up together and through me they both have a healthy taste in film music and they requested a selection of scores, we shared a bottle of red and amongst the scores requested I've played tracks from this afternoon are....

Wonderful music. Multiple themes, woodwind solos, swashbuckling, operatic solos. What more could you ask for? Certainly my favorite score of the year thus far. -

"Slaves" is what Goldsmith could have composed for Gladiator....

Woooot! Disc Two starts off magnificently! (Mind that Disc One already ruled). I feared tat it would be too much but it really in't (mind that I haven't played Disc 3).

I love that it's a proper, exciting action score with melody. That kind of approach is rare, particularly these days. Brian Tyler, for example, tends to create the antithesis to melodic action music. -
