I dunno about this particular model of Samsung but one of my friends had one a couple of years old (I dunno the model) and I was not too impressed by the sound quality. Personally, I've found Motorola phones to have the best sound quality. Anyway, if you feel the sound quality of your phone is acceptable then I think it should be ok, or else you can go for an MP3 player
NP: Jurassic Park - John Williams
My Friend The Brachiosaurus and T-Rex Rescue and Finale are AWESOME!
If only this had the T-Rex jeep chase cue, this would've been much better. -

Even the cheapest chinese mp3 player is better than any cellular player. Besides, you can find really good mp3 players for a very reasonable price.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

NP: Arn - Tempelriddaren (The Knight Templar) - Tuomas Kantelinen
Only if I had heard this score in 2007 because it would have easily made my Top 10. This is a pleasant surprise... but I shouldn't really be surprised because I've always enjoyed Kantelinen's work. The choral music in this score is stunning. It's beautiful, free flowing music. There are few action cues that unfortunately break the nice flow of the album but overall this is solid film music from one of film music's rising talents. And the song "Snö Framförd Av Laleh" is achingly beautiful. These are the kinds of songs that I like... the way they perfectly blend into the score and don't sound like some cheap pop tune plopped in over top of the end credits to make a few more bucks. Well done, Tuomas. Looking forward to more of your work! Highly recommended!

Well exactly! Can't agree more, really and i am particularly glad you feel this way. This gem here is one of the numerous examples i tell people who complain about the modern film music's outcome, mostly american, to look out and open their ears to.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

NP: Year of the Wolf - Tuomas Kantelinen
I decided to play one more Kantelinen score today… which is one that I haven’t played before. I’ve had this album for a while now but for some reason forgot about it. This is Kantelinen in minimalism mode. I‘m normally turned off with minimalist film music but unlike Philip Glass’s music this never annoyed me with repetition of the same rhythms over and over and over again. Kantelinen changed it up quite I bit from track to track. Also, the score contains a lot of melody… two themes if I can remember correctly. The highlight of the score is the finale track “Requiem†with Latin lyrics sung by Karoliina Kantelinen. It’s a haunting ending to a breezy 30 minute album that flows wonderfully from start to finish. It’s a dark, dramatic work but isn’t depressing. It a score where you can kick back in your favorite chair, shut your eyes and let the music fill the room. It’s a very meditative score. I’m looking forward to re-visiting this score when I need something to help me relax.

Right now I'm playing Gladiator. I still hate the direct references to Holst's Mars but the rest of the score is exceptional. Easily one of Zimmer's greatest achievements.

Because I'm not a fan of that particular piece especially the segment Zimmer ripped. You can also hear it briefly in Shearmur's Sky Captain and I always cringe. It's like nails on a chalk board to me. Plus it's soooooooooooo cliche. The rest of the piece is fine. The heroic Gladiator theme is awesome!
NP: Gladiator - "Am I Not Merciful?" - Hans Zimmer
One of the moment powerful and emotional cues of Zimmer's career. Wow... just wow!

I don't think it is on iTunes. However, the score was available on Milan France but for some reason I can't find any purchasing options. It was available at http://www13.cd-wow.com/index.php but I can't find it now. Try contacting Jane through her web site - http://janecornish.com/

NP: A BUG'S LIFE - Randy Newman
I'm not quite sure why Randy Newman decided to write a Western for a movie about ants, but it sure sounds good! As with most Disney releases, there's a fair amount of dodgy editing, but the final suite which uses a lot of the shorter cues from the movie is put together brilliantly. -

I'd have to agree with you on that. I like this more than the original, although I love the themes in the original. This one has great action with some familiar themes near the end.
NP: Marnie Bernard Hermann (Joel McNeely)
I only just recently discovered Bernard Hermann though the films Vertigo, Marnie, and Citizen Kane
I haven't heard Vertigo on its own, but in the film it was great. Marnie on CD is really good. -
