    Maybe...maybe not?

If anyone can think of a reason why one of those films is the odd one out please say.

Anyway, guess on and I'll give a clue later this evening.

Hmmm...I'm guessing the clue'll have to do with the music.

Yeah, I'm guessing the 1952 The Thief is the odd one out, but I'll hold off on giving my reasons for a minute, to not unduly influence any other players.

I'm guessing THE LIGTNING THIEF is the odd one out, because you, you know...he's stealing LIGHTNING!! The others steal real things. smile

I knew Scandinavians were weird, but I think that home-distilled hooch is getting to you, Thor (they really should lower the price ofa drink up there in the North).

My guess is that it's to do with the nature of the thieving: all other three films concern items that are taken physically by criminals. 1952's The Thief is an espionage movie were -I think- data gets photographed.

    So there's my reasoning.
    The Thief - spy + non-physical theft
Other three - "classic" thieves + physical items (I think all three even involve jewels? I may be wrong on that count).

Very clever, Martijn, but not the answer I'm waiting for which is VERY specific.

Another clue : Think along the lines of Hitchcock's, THE BIRDS.
