Not too sure i like this better over the original.
I like the choir at the end of the cue in the original version, but the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra performance is really good!Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

Well it showed Zimmer doing a speech in public concerning his Hollywood star, and he was announced on screen as Han Zimmer."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

New video game score from Hans Zimmer. Crysis 2.
The news came out when La-La-Land announced the score release.
You can hear a theme here:

The source of information:

I found that video myself. Zimmer's style in the piece is evident, a bit of Batman Begins reference. The theme itself is already better than Modern Warfare 2 as a whole.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

For real? First I've heard of it. I'm gonna play Crysis 2 soon. Will be sweet to hear Zimmer in the background, hopefully it's a little more than just wallpaper scoring though.."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

That's a pretty cool theme, thanks Pawel.

I found this on a not so legal forum:
Game's end credits says that Graeme Norgate is the Audio Director. He's also composer.
EDIT: His blog says "I'm a composer and sound designer, currently working at Crytek UK".
Or another post
The music is composed by Steve Kofsky!
Music is amazing IMO, much better than Crysis 1 and Crysis Warhead.
Scroll down until you guys see the movie/game posters. Under Crysis 2 poster it says its by Steve Kofsky

The official site credits Hans-> http://www.hans-zimmer.com/fr/newsite.p … mp;id=1013
Though as usual, there has probably been other people involved.

Unofficial site.
The name that appears a lot seems to be Steven Kofsky and the guy works with the Production Services in Remote Control. The plot thickens
And how did they manage to hide Zimmer's involvement?http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Hmm, I wonder what it is going to turn out like. I love Rodrigo and Gabriella, and I have had the chance to see them live.
Now I'm wondering what it will sound like when they cooperate with Hans Zimmer...
Thanks for making me curious D.

Those are pretty much the best parts of the release. -
- CommentTimeFeb 24th 2011
According to the official Crysis website, "the best parts of the release" are mostly NOT by Zimmer.
Just like I suspected, the quite sophiscated counterpoint in "SOS New York" is too complex for Zimmer & Co.
