Wasn't that also true for Steiner and in fact, come to think about it, if World War II never happened, Hollywood wouldn't have existed as we know it in general?http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Zimmer would've stayed with The Buggles."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

There's only so many contributions people can make to messageboards, social media, etc. and I think that people settle at a level they are comfortable with when everything else in peoples' lives are taken into consideration.
Yes, that's it for me too. I like here BECAUSE it's relatively quiet and there's a smallish band of contributors, many of whom I feel I "know" because of that. I do browse FSM but it's hard to keep up because of the volume of comments. There are some real freaks there and the obsessive bias towards what's the latest re-re-re-re-re-release or marginal expansion of whatever score which lasts right up to the point it's announced before the obsession starts over what the next announcement might be, but also some people with very interesting points of view and valuable insights whose thoughts I find well worth reading. JWFan... well, yeah. Not for me, I'll put it that way.
I agree with Edmund that Filmtracks is somewhat similar to here, but it's a bit more dominated by people with a rather different set of likes when it comes to film music than this place. -
