    Another Zimmer protege graduates to his first score release!

    According to Varese, the composer's score to Vantage Point will be released in Feburary.

    for the record, I AM excited about this, for no other reason but that he's an RC guy and he has an uber-cool name biggrin

    Just hope he hasn´t taken the same path of Zanelli in Hitman. More than interested, which I´m not actually, I´m curious.

    It doesn't bode well that Varese didn't even make any attempt to hyperbolize the quality of the score.

    I must admit when I watched the trailer, for some reason I thought it had the potential to be an interesting score. I've never heard of Orvarsson but look forward to hearing this.

    The score seems to be really weird...


    You can hear some extracts in the background of the official website of the film => www.babylonad-lefilm.com/


    A track sounds great with DaVinciesque chorals...


    But the other part of the score, co-written by Örvarsson with RZA & System of a Down's bassist sounds more hip-hop/electronic...


    By the way, I'll take a listen...



    The film came out 4 days ago in France, and I'm not seeing it...

    It's seems to be a big piece of crap ! biggrin

    Mathieu Kassovitz is a good actor and a good writer/producer, but as director, most of the time, he fails (during the shooting, he even fought with the producer of Babylon A.D. LOL) !

    I guess now Kasso HATES Vin Diesel too... biggrin

    Thick of Thieves is the film previously known as 'The Code' (http://upcomingfilmscores.blogspot.com/ … -code.html). Directed by Mimi Leder, stars Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas. Not sure, but I think it's going straight to DVD.
