the jazzy score is a surprise in the film, and works well on CD too
The film itself was a very pleasant surprise. And the score helped indeed.
Is this the film with JCVD playing himself? On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

the film was an awesome surprise, at least for those who thought they have seen it all of JCVD
The 6+ minutes long monologue has to be watched to believe it. Great stuff from JCVD.Anything with an orchestra or with a choir....at some point will reach you -

When I think of SWAT, I think rather MV, which of course Goldenthal made a wonderful parody of, stylistically.
When I think of a SWAT team in a movie, I think of The Rockhttp://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

CONAN THE BARBARIAN Basil Poledouris
A top top TOP score for me, right up there with my favourites such as Star Wars.

Superior effort by Giacchino. Memorable main theme, soarin' action, heartfelt love theme, rapid fire brass writing, and a showstopping finale! This is Giacchino in top form!
