I want to buy Bose: The Forgotten Hero too (I only have it in MP3), but it seems out of stock everywhere I asked. It's up on a few online stores including amazon, but I don't have a credit card.. -

How is the sound quality in MP3? what is the bit rate? is it 320kbps or 192 or 128? Why i am asking this because if i were in your position, i wouldn't search for CD when i have in MP3, but you know if you are not satisfied with sound quality then nothing wrong in searching for original CD.Racism, Prejudices and discrimination exists everywhere. -

I have it in 256 VBR MP3. It isn't bad quality but personally I always wish to own the music in original CD or lossless quality. -

* GREAT COMPOSERS (Georges Delerue, 2CD)
Superb Varese compilation that will serve as an excellent sampler/guide once I up my Delerue purchases in the future. Just one bliss track/suite after the other.
Thanks so much again, dude!!
I think this one's brilliant. I can't think there could be a better sampler of his American scores.
Absolutely beautiful music in there, one of the best film music compilations and a great listening experience.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

The President - Frederic Talgorn
After one listen I was underwhelmed by the first 3/4 of this album, but the last for tracks were quite good.
I like this Talgorn score a lot. It's bookended by some great cues even if the middle section is a little underscorish.

It seems to be available at some of the Music World/Planet M stores.

* BOSE - THE FORGOTTEN HERO (A. R. Rahman)
Nice and varied score - from lush orchestral stuff to haunting songs with Indian elements.
I like this one a lot. It's probably the only song+score album of his for an Indian film. Unfortunately the movie did badly and there was hardly any publicity for the music so very few know of this work. -

Brian May? THE Brian May? The astrophysicist and musician Brian May?
Awesome. -
- CommentTimeFeb 18th 2010
No, not that Brian May. This one has less spectacular hair and isn't married to that person who used to be in Eastenders. -

Did you know there was an Australian composer called Brian May? Most famous for scoring Mad Max 1 & 2.On Friday I ate a lot of dust and appeared orange near the end of the day ~ Bregt -

I still say you haven't actually properly lived until you've heard the BBC radio version of Independence Day, called -surprisingly- Independence Day UK (yeah, seriously. Licensed and approved by Emmerich and 20th Century Fox and everything), in which Patrick Moore rather singlehandedly kicks the aliens out of the UK.
I greatly prefer it over the so-so film.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

Yep , that one - NOT the Queen Brian May ...
The confusion is normal , normally there is just one Brian May !

I should get the first one. -

To avoid disappointment ...
No Brian May on the first one - it's Jay Chattaway !"Simplicity is the key to brilliance" -
- CommentTimeFeb 18th 2010
Because I want to be able to follow the intricate thematic development of the second one. Duh!
This could actually be a very good score, so I better keep schtum. -

May I suggest you start to listen to the Kunzels I have! There will be no disappointment there.
And I already listened to Loch Ness and it is indeed splendid bro, don't know why I waited so long to get it, especially since I'm a bit of a Jones fan."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -
