I saw Merlin in an HMV store in London Mikael. How succesful has it been? And I didn't saw a 'limited edition' number on them. Is it an unlimited release?

Yes, Merlin is not limited. To tell you the truth, if we could do unlimited releases of every title we do, I would be more than happy. Only problem is that most of my albums are too obscure for that... Merlin has done pretty well, though!

  2. For some reason I really like Mikael's use of the digipak. I don't usually when it comes to CD releases, but (so far) the artwork and design of Mikael's CD releases suits the digipak format very well.

Aren't you pleased when a score comes beautifully packaged? Nice artwork, informative liner notes, etc?

I know it's "all about the music" but sometimes the packaging can be works of art in themselves.

With CDs, not so much (there are times I really miss the LP album format).

The main reasons I dislike digipaks are
    1) they tend to get dirty/nicked/damaged more easily
    2) ofttimes you can't read the title on the spines (or it's not there at all) which makes it lousy to store.

re # 2) Poledouris THE TOUCH comes to mind, beautiful packaging but impracticable.

We need to have a little fun Erik which I sorely needed after reading your re-review of Superman. When my daughter was small I use to play the who says we can fly theme every night to put her to sleep. The movie was syrupy but that is Hollywood.
