Norma Jean & Marilyn

Christopher Young

" Two actors, one woman, one voice "

Written by Thomas Glorieux - Review of the regular release

This is not for me. Soft jazz is a thing to admire, and though Christopher Young sets the tone right for this kind of picture, it doesn't entertain me enough. But that doesn't mean that I can't see or admire the beauty and quality in it. And like a lot of things Christopher Young touches, so too is Norma Jean and Marylin a score to admire for the right reasons. The wrong ones you take with you personally.

Another versatile side of Christopher Young, the known horror king
Dreamy, calm, smooth, relaxing background listen
Luckily not too long
The tone of the tragic story is deeply reflected in Young's music, such as the tragic "Too Young"
Though not long, it somehow feels that way nonetheless
It somehow stays in the same mood and tone, blurring into one big giant cue
