Celluloid Tunes contributor Jon Aanensen provides an overview of composer Sylvester Levay's filmography:

    I am extremely serious.
  1. A composer who I know very little about. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for looking, Alan. I only know a little of his work myself, so it was great to have this overview - with music clips.

I like the inclusion of the clips. When I listen to music that's heavily synth-based, as well as the themes, etc, I am very particular on how the synths themselves sound - hence my much mentioned (by me) of my preference of Jean-Michel Jarre over Vangelis - and the whole feel of his theme for Invitation To Hell is great. Love it. Another highlight from the clips is Levay's theme for Choke Canyon.

For me, the scores I am most familiar with of his is the music released for Medicopter 117: Jedes Leben Zählt. Very varied stuff but some excellent tracks.
