Is anyone else as mesmerized as I am by this new track composed by Sarah Class for yesterday's coronation specifically?

What a beautiful melody, supported by an amazing performance from Pretty Yende and the "Coronation Orchestra", whoever these people were. Breathtaking.
  3. At the moment I am assuming that all versions of the new pieces featured in the Coronation were recorded from the ceremony itself.

I haven't heard from any of the composers that they recorded their new pieces separately beforehand. But I may be wrong.

Could be. The album was announced awhile back, but there was no track listing. So yeah -- could possibly be because they were waiting for the thing to be aired.
    I am extremely serious.
  4. I'm looking forward to it very much. There were quite a few stunning performances, including a great rendition of Holst's "Jupiter". Plus, a new Coronation March by Patrick Doyle. There's a lot of interesting stuff in there.

The Doyle piece was fine, but not spectacular either. It's weird if that piece was what prevented him from doing the latest Branagh/Christie film.

Maybe the Royal Family or their minions were so demanding he just had to keep himself available 24/7.

I did find it quite appealing when it began. I am interested in hearing all the film music composer's newly written compositions again.

  7. Debbie Wiseman seems to be doing the rounds in terms of media. She's been on multiple TV and radio shows the last couple of days.

Not so much Patrick or Sarah.
