    I have the symphonic suite of "On the Waterfront" and was wondering if the new Intrada release is worth getting in its place?

    If you want an archival record and some great liner notes I'd say go for it. However, I doubt I'll play the OST ever again when I have Bernstein's amazing suite with brilliant sound.

    Yes, I agree with Erik.
    It's a fascinating issue, but the suite is a much better (and, to be honest, easier) listen.
