At the suggestion of Scribe I've moved the information to its own thread with hopes of generating more interest. I've been given a CD to give away of Banner Saga signed by both Austin and the engineer Prof. Johnson. Right now I'm waiting for a call back from Austin and or Reference Recordings to come up with a question. It will be a tough one but answerable. Hope this will work out as I can do this with other companies.

I should have the question approved today and we'll be able to get the contest started. If this one proves successful there will be more.

In fact let me go on to say that this was a complete waste of time and I'll be quite embarrassed when I report back to RR and Austin on how it's going. Should I switch it to FSM?

  1. The work's title can be found easy enough. I did not find though any information concerning questions 2 and 3.

Tom, I have just seen the question. Haven't been on the forum since you posted it. I am now at work an have no time to answer. What did you expect after 8 hours, or 15 hours? dizzy

In any case I would leave up the contest a bit longer. Remember I did a contest here once and I let it run for two months! In the end I got 6 participants... So no need to be annoyed or making dramatic comments like your last one.

I expected at least one response which I finally got when I turned on my computer this morning. I wasn't being dramatic just realistic.

While they're all wrong I see your point and admit I didn't do a very good job of it sad. Wasn't thinking too clearly about this at all. Since this is all very early in the contest I've created a gmail to send the answers to and another question.

I'm pleased so far at the number of entries (over 100) and do have a correct answer but you can still vote as only the winning entries will go into the random generator. Keep voting. A little tricky but very possible.

I'd like to thank the Academy of Performing Arts, the department of agriculture, the eggman, the walrus, the country of Albania and Fatboy Slim.

    I enjoyed your challenge, Tom.
It wasn't straightforward at all and required correlation of several sources to come to the right answer.
    Thanks!

I'm ready to do another one for Maintitles exclusively. What do I need to do to entice more participation. Off the top of my head I have a Basil Poledouris compilation from BSX.
